Initial consultation & assessment
Our journey begins by understanding your goals. We meet with you—either virtually or in person—to explore your project vision, needs, and budget. A site assessment follows to evaluate your space, identify any zoning or structural considerations, and take accurate measurements. We then prepare a tailored budget estimate aligned with your expectations.
Key activities:
-
Client discovery meeting: Geoliving meets with the client to understand their goals, vision, and budget.
-
Site visit & evaluation: A site visit is conducted to assess the space, identify any challenges (e.g., structural issues, zoning regulations), and take measurements.
-
Preliminary budget & planning: An initial cost estimate is provided, which may involve outlining the scope of work, materials, and timeline.

Design & planning
Working collaboratively, we develop architectural concepts that reflect your vision. Once approved, we handle all required permits and liaise with local authorities to simplify the approval process. We also create a detailed project scope and schedule so you know exactly what to expect from start to finish.
Key activities:
-
Conceptual design development: The company may work with an architect or designer to create design concepts or layouts that meet the client's vision.
-
Client design approval: The client reviews and approves the design before moving forward.
-
Permit & Zoning Applications: If required, permits (e.g., building permits and zoning approvals) are applied for from local authorities.
-
Final Scope, Budget & Schedule: A detailed renovation plan is created, outlining all the steps involved, the timeline, and costs.

Preparation
Before construction begins, we coordinate material sourcing and ensure everything is in place. Site protection is a priority, and any outdated structures are carefully demolished to prepare for the transformation ahead.
Key activities:
-
Material selection & procurement: The company sources all materials needed for the renovation (e.g., flooring, cabinetry, lighting, etc.), which may involve ordering and delivery logistics.
-
Site protection measures: Any necessary demolition or clearing of existing structures takes place, including protecting existing property elements from damage.

Demolition & structural work
This is where the transformation truly begins. Old elements are removed, and any structural modifications—such as new framing or supports—are completed with precision and care.
Key activities:
-
Demolition and clearing: This phase completes any renovations that involve tearing down walls, removing old fixtures, or removing outdated structures.
-
Framing & load-bearing modifications: If the renovation requires structural changes, such as framing, reinforcing, or adding new support, this is done at this stage

Mechanical, electrical & plumbing (MEP)
With the space opened up, our licensed professionals install or upgrade electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as needed to ensure everything behind the walls is built to modern standards.
Key activities:
-
Electrical and lighting installations: If necessary, new wiring (e.g., lighting, outlets, etc.) is installed.
-
Plumbing Lines & Fixtures: If applicable, new plumbing lines, sinks, and fixtures are installed or moved.
-
HVAC adjustments & integration: Adjustments or upgrades to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are completed as required.

Interior & exterior work
Your space begins to take shape, inside and out. This phase includes installing drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and applying paint and finishes that reflect your design vision.
Key activities:
-
Drywall & finishing: New walls, ceilings, and partitions are framed, and drywall is installed and finished.
-
Flooring installation: Flooring installation begins, including hardwood, tile, carpet, etc.
-
Interior/exterior painting: Walls and ceilings are painted, and finishing touches like trim, mouldings, and baseboards are installed.
-
Cabinet & countertop installations: Kitchen, bathroom, or any built-in cabinetry is installed along with countertops.

Detailed work & fixtures
This is where it all comes together. Lighting, appliances, and final fixtures are installed to add function and style. We address every detail with the quality craftsmanship we're known for.
Key activities:
-
Lighting & hardware installation: Light fixtures, faucets, switches, and other small hardware elements are installed.
-
Appliance setup: Any major appliances (e.g., refrigerators, ovens, washers) are installed, and furniture pieces may be moved or placed.

Final inspection & adjustments
We invite you to walk through the completed space with us to ensure it meets your expectations. Any final adjustments are made promptly, and we complete a thorough quality check to guarantee everything is up to standard.
Key activities:
-
Client walkthrough: A final walkthrough with the client is conducted to review the work and ensure it meets expectations.
-
Final adjustments & touch-ups: Any last-minute adjustments or corrections are made based on feedback from the client.
-
Quality assurance inspection: A final inspection ensures that all work meets building codes, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Completion & handover
Once everything is complete, we clean and prepare the space for handover. You'll receive all project documentation, warranties, and of course, the keys to your beautifully renovated home.
Key activities:
-
Site clean-up & final prep: Once all work is finished, the site is cleaned up, and any leftover debris is removed.
-
Documentation & warranty review: The keys and any necessary documentation (e.g., warranties, permits) are handed over to the client.

Post-renovation support
Our support doesn't end when the project does. We offer post-project check-ins and warranty coverage on eligible work, ensuring your peace of mind long after completion.
Key activities:
-
Follow-up visit: After a few months, a follow-up visit might be scheduled to ensure everything is functioning as expected and to address any issues that may arise.
-
Warranty service: If applicable, a warranty on certain aspects of the work may be offered.
